History and Overview of the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple in Guduvanchery

The Gurusthan of the temple was installed in 2006 by Kulasekara Perumal of the Gowrivakkam Sai Baba Temple, who inspired the founder, M.R. Natarajan, to construct this temple. The main statue of Shirdi Sai Baba was installed, and kumbabishekam was performed on January 20, 2008.

The temple conducts Annadanam every third Sunday and holds Rudra Homam every two years. Veda classes are held daily from 5:30 AM to 6:30 AM. The temple also houses 19 saligrams, approximately 350 years old, which are revered by devotees.

Remarkably, the area, once affected by water scarcity, now experiences an abundant water supply attributed to Baba’s blessings after the temple’s construction.
