Details of the Temple

The Shri Sai Bhakta Samaj, established in 1968, is a non-profit organization dedicated to spreading the teachings of Shirdi Sai Baba. It began modestly in a rented room but grew to inspire the creation of numerous Sai Samajams across India. A major achievement was the construction of the first Shirdi Sai Memorial in Northern India, located in Lodhi Road, New Delhi. The Samaj’s journey involved tireless fundraising efforts, including donations from film distributors and Qawwali performances. The temple’s construction, overseen by dedicated architects and contractors, was a collaborative effort involving many devoted individuals. A beautiful white marble statue of Sai Baba was commissioned from Jaipur and installed with great reverence. The Samaj continues to serve as a beacon of faith, offering prayers, bhajans, and community events, and has even overcome challenges like a fire incident in 2002, emerging stronger with the support of its devoted community.
